Graves Law Office, P.C. was founded to provide a platform on which to offer corporate and individual clients high-end litigation services more efficiently than can be done by most large law firms. We represent companies and individuals in high-stakes patent litigation, trademark and unfair competition litigation and a variety of different types of business disputes. Intellectual property and business litigation is our sole focus.

Our lawyers are graduates of the nation’s top law schools, and include former U.S. District Court and Court of Appeals law clerks. Our clients include publicly-traded corporations, start-ups and individuals across a broad spectrum of industries. Our past and present clients include Stamps.com Inc., Web.com, Inc., 3D Systems, Inc., and Giant Studios, Inc., among many others.

We are confident in our skill as trial lawyers and litigators. Accordingly, we often accept fee structures in which our compensation is based on the result we obtain for our clients, rather than the typical hourly rate in which the client pays regardless of the success or failure of the case. We believe that sharing the risk of failure and the rewards of success aligns our interests more closely with those of our clients, and also rewards us appropriately for the work that we do.

We are aggressive, we are creative, and we are efficient. We work hard to obtain the best possible result. We don’t waste your money and our time on discovery and motion practice of little or no value, but rather focus our efforts on obtaining the evidence most relevant to your case and using it to persuade the judge or jury at trial. This will typically produce a better outcome than the “kitchen sink” approach, and will tend to minimize the expensive and unproductive “wheel spinning” that so often occurs in large business cases.

Whether you are considering initiating legal action, you have been served with a complaint, or you are involved in litigation and are unhappy with the manner in which your current counsel is handling the case, we would appreciate an opportunity to discuss how we might best serve your needs.
